TOU’s Taekwondo School Taichung
TOU’s Taekwondo School is a member of the World Taekwondo (WT) and Asia Taekwondo Union (ATU). Since 1994, TOU’s Taekwondo school had been teaching Taekwondo by using heuristic techniques with creativity and uniqueness. Different from the traditional teaching methods, the instructors focus on cultivating children’s response and defense mechanisms. Over the past 26 years, TOU’s Taekwondo School had trained hundreds of students to utilize their full potential, gain self-confidence, and learn how to respect others.
This taekwondo sports center is run by world-class instructors, with open space and excellent facilities. The environment is spacious and safe for students to practice martial arts freely.
Bilingual/Foreign Students
TOU’s Taekwondo School offers bilingual classes in English and Mandarin. Each student will learn Sparring and Poomsae (also called form, a defined pattern of defense and attack motion) taught by professional instructors. As Poomsae is widely used in Taekwondo rank testing, it is essential to have skilled-instructors who can teach Poomsae well. Our expert instructors can define a student’s strength, skill-level, knowledge, and focus just by watching him/her perform one set of Poomsae.
We welcome all students who speak English to come and learn Taekwondo with us.
Classes for Kids
Our school has Taekwondo classes for kids 3 years old and above. At this age, kids learn how to balance their bodies, basic Taekwondo moves, and, most importantly, how to work and cooperate in a team environment as well as respect.
Side Kicks
There are many actions in Taekwondo that require skills like side kick, roundhouse kick, or back kick. Our students will learn all of these motions and more to advance in Taekwondo.
Proud Results
Taekwondo is a martial art that builds self-confidence and motivation. It is an activity suitable for all ages. Over the years, students from TOU’s Taekwondo School have won many awards at various national and international competitions. We are proud of their hard work and amazing performances!

3:30-5:00pm (Kindergarten middle class)
5:00-6:30pm (Kindergarten big class)
6:00-7:30pm (Beginners)
7:30-9:30pm (Intermediate & Advanced)

2:00-3:30pm (Kindergarten big class)

Free Taekwondo Trial Class
We welcome all new students to come and try out our classes between Monday to Saturday from 6:30 pm-8:00 pm.

In addition to teaching fundamental Taekwondo skills, Master Tou also teach the kids the importance of self-discipline... and respect. The students in her class are super friendly and very helpful to new students also. New students joining her class won't feel left out.
